The GT 2000 offers overpronators a lightweight everyday stability running shoe whilst providing a cushioned ride.
With the ASICS heel clutching system, your feet are held in place inside the shoe as you run. Additional support is provided with the help of the Guidance Trusstic placed in the underlayer of the shoe. The guidance line technology gives you additional balance whilst helping you perfect your running motion. Additionally, the Dynamic Duomax medial post is there to stop you from overpronating when needed, without getting in the way of your natural running rhythm.
GEL is strategically placed at the rearfoot and forefoot of the shoe to maximize shock absorption in these high impact areas. Furthermore, FlyteFoam Lyte, a low-density foam with nanofibers is used throughout the midsole to provide you with continuous cushioning whilst being 55% lighter than the industry standard.
The upper is designed to give runners additional room in the toe box to accommodate all foot shapes comfortably. The upper construction uses a jacquard mesh with plenty of slits for ventilation even on those hot summer days, to get rid of any hot spots and irritations.
ASICS High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) is used in the outsole to provide you great traction on any road. Moreover, AHAR also increases the lifespan of the GT 2000 with its lasting durability and a more resistant AHARPLUS (AHAR ) is placed at the heel to keep all heel strikers’ minds at ease
